Hallo Udo,
From Aghnacliff go North and take
the first right to Gowna and then the next left
up a small track, the tomb is about 300 metres
up this track in a field to your right, look for the
rusty gate.

to a lane way with a wooden gate, the

way through the gate and to the far
side of the field, you will come to a
small gate the portal tomb is through
this gate in the field below you.

> I am searching in the web for a megalithic
> monument near (south) Roosky, east from the N4 and
> west from Johnstownbridge. It is signed in German
> maps. Do you know something about it?
und bekam diese Antwort:
"I do not know of a megalithic site between Roosky and Johnstownbridge
there is nothing on the Irish map of that area, there may a mistake on
the German map as between those two areas is a Townland named Aghamore,
County leitrim, and also in North County Leitrim is another Townland
named Aghamore with a very famous Megalithic Wedge Tomb, this is
situated North West of Manorhamilton."
Wegbeschreibung:

the entrance to Cloonmorris Church. From
Longford take the N4 North to Newtown

road for 1/2 mile and the church is stuated
on the right hand side.
